Cycling connoisseurs of Ahmedabad city will be treated to yet another international cycling event at the beginning of the New Year – 2015. The third event of the Arvind Sabarmati Cyclothon will be held on 25^th January 2015 in the city. This Cyclothon, which debuted in 2013, will commence at 6:30 am on that day, and consists of a variety of races that promises to bring in a lot of energy, excitement and fun in the event.

The cyclothon consists of the following races:

50 kms. for men/women
100 kms. for men/women

Under two categories of age groups: from 18-45/40 years and above 45/40 years for men/women respectively. This cyclothon also consists of a dream ride option of 16 kms. for those who do not want to race.

The Arvind Sabarmati Cyclothon held on February 02, 2014 stood out as a remarkable event that will take Gujarat to heights of international fame. Organized by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), it is the first ever cyclothon to be held in the state of Gujarat. This event had been organized in association with the Ahmedabad Bicycling Club. The event comprised of three distance races.

Full cyclothon (105 km)
Medium cyclothon (50 km)
Dream cyclothon (15 km)

The entire competition was divided into two age-groups, general and veterans (above 45 years of age).
